Verification
Network wide verification with Discord and optionally Roblox, roles, nicknames and automatic verification on join.
How it works
The verify panel has a button that opens modhelm.com/verify/your-server-id. Members log in with Discord (only the public profile) and agree that their verification counts in every server that uses Modhelm. If your server requires it, they also link their Roblox account by logging in with Roblox.
After that Modhelm gives the verified role, removes an unverified role if you use one, and sets the nickname.
Network wide
A member verifies once. When they join another server that uses Modhelm with automatic verification, they get the role right away. If that server requires a Roblox link and the member has none yet, they verify there once more.
White label bots share the same verification, because the Discord user ID is the same in every app.
Settings
In Settings → Verification you choose:
- the verified role and an optional unverified role
- whether a Roblox link is required
- automatic verification of known members on join
- the nickname format with
{displayName},{username}and{robloxId}. Nicknames are cut to Discord's 32 characters
Removing a verification
Members can delete their verification at any time with /unverify or on their data page. Existing roles stay until the next check, but automatic verification stops. The Roblox link is deleted right away.
