Modhelm has a free plan, two paid plans and the moderation service as an add-on. You can pay on the website or directly in Discord. Both ways cost the same and unlock the same features.

Plans

PlanForIncludes
FreeGetting started with one gameReports with video, bans, priors, notes, unban requests, verification, portal, export
ProGrowing games with a bigger teamUp to 10 games, extra questions in forms, branding in the portal, larger video uploads, longer audit log
White LabelStudios with their own brandEverything from Pro, plus your own bot, your own domain, no Modhelm branding, up to 25 games

Every plan includes reports, bans, unban requests, verification and the portal. The moderation service is an add-on to Pro and White Label, see below. Current prices and the exact limits are on the pricing page and under Billing in the dashboard.

Prices and taxes

  • Prices on the website include VAT where it applies. The checkout shows the tax for your country, and businesses get an invoice with their VAT ID.
  • Plans renew automatically until you cancel.
  • Prices are the same on the website and in Discord. We announce price changes in advance.

Buy on the website

  1. Open Billing in the dashboard and click Choose under the plan.
  2. Checkout runs through Stripe. Enter your business details so the invoice is correct.
  3. The plan is active within a minute. You get the invoice by email, and every later invoice too.

Under Manage subscription you reach the customer portal: update the payment method, download invoices, change the plan or cancel.

Buy in Discord

  1. Type /premium in your server. The bot shows the plans with Discord's purchase buttons.
  2. Buy the server subscription through Discord. Discord is the seller and handles payment and taxes.
  3. The plan is active within a minute.

Subscriptions bought in Discord are managed in Discord: Server Settings > Integrations. The dashboard shows "Paid via Discord" and links there. The moderation service is not sold through Discord because its usage based part is not possible there; book it on the website.

Change the plan

  • Upgrade: choose the higher plan. On the website the difference is charged for the rest of the period.
  • Downgrade: choose the lower plan. It starts at the end of the current period. Make sure you are within the limits of the lower plan, for example the number of games, before it starts. Games above the limit stop receiving bans until you remove some.

Cancel

  • Website: Billing > Manage subscription > Cancel. The plan runs until the end of the paid period, then the server returns to Free. You keep every feature until then.
  • Discord: Server Settings > Integrations, cancel the subscription there.

Nothing is deleted when a plan ends. Reports, bans, notes and settings stay. Features of the old plan simply switch off: a white label bot stops, a custom domain goes offline, extra form questions are no longer asked.

Failed payments

If a payment fails, the dashboard shows Payment overdue and you get an email. Update the payment method in the customer portal. After several failed attempts the subscription ends and the server returns to Free.

Moderation service billing

The moderation service is booked in addition to Pro or White Label and has a base fee plus a fee for every started 100 decisions made by our team per month. The current count is visible under Service. See Moderation service.

Invoices and company details

Invoices are issued by the operator named in the imprint. Add your company name, address and VAT ID in the checkout or in the customer portal so they appear on the invoice.

Who can change billing

Only admins of the server can open Billing, buy or cancel. See Team and permissions.

Plan set by the Modhelm team

Some servers, for example partners or servers with a custom agreement, have a plan set by us. The dashboard shows "Set by the Modhelm team" with the end date, if there is one. Contact us to change it.
