This page lists the cookies and browser storage Modhelm uses. In short: only what is technically necessary. That is why we do not show a cookie banner.

No banner because no tracking
Under § 25(2) no. 2 of the German TDDDG, cookies do not require consent if they are strictly necessary for us to provide a service you explicitly use, for example your login. These are exactly the cookies we set, and the only ones.
- no analytics cookies and no statistics tools
- no advertising cookies and no retargeting
- no third-party cookies, no social media plugins, no embedded videos from other providers
- fonts and scripts are loaded from our own server
This applies to modhelm.com, the dashboard, the portal, the app, the staff panel, the status page and game teams' own domains.

All cookies apply only to the address you are on (for example modhelm.com, m.modhelm.com, staff.modhelm.com or a team's own domain) and are not sent to other websites. A session from one address does not work on another.
Browser storage
We do not use your browser's storage for tracking. If you install Modhelm as an app, your browser stores program files and an offline page so that the app starts quickly and shows a notice even without a connection. They contain no personal data. The app does not store pages with data from your servers.
In your browser's local storage we only remember two things: whether you closed the hint about installing the app (mh_install_dismissed) and whether you already rated a page of the documentation (mh_docs_feedback). We store the rating itself without a user ID and without an IP address.
If you turn on push notifications, your browser creates a subscription for them. This only happens with your explicit permission, which you can withdraw at any time.
Content and pages of other providers
Your browser may load profile pictures, server icons and game images directly from Discord or Roblox. These providers then receive your IP address and information about your browser. We do not set any cookies for this. Our privacy policy has more details.
To pay and to manage your subscription we send you to pages run by Stripe. Stripe's cookie and privacy notices apply there. Stripe does not set cookies on our own pages.
Deleting cookies
You can delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings. Without mh_session and mh_oauth you cannot log in, and without mh_locale and mh_theme we show the default language and theme. When you log out, we delete mh_session ourselves.
Changes
If we start using new cookies, we add them to this page beforehand. Should we ever want to use cookies that require consent, we will ask you first and set them only after you agree.
