Community Manager (working student)
Modhelm is a Discord bot with a web dashboard that helps Roblox game teams moderate fairly. Our community lives on our support Discord, in server listings and in the places where Roblox developers and moderators meet. You keep that community alive, informed and heard.
Community Manager (working student)
Your tasks
- Look after the Modhelm support Discord: welcome new members, keep the announcement, changelog and status channels readable, moderate the community channels.
- Turn releases into announcements people actually want to read, in English.
- Run the feature request and feedback channels: collect, group, bring the most wanted ideas to the team and answer the question "what happened to my idea".
- Stay in touch with our partners (studios, creators, communities) and prepare joint announcements.
- Be present where Roblox teams are: Discord server listings, the Roblox developer forum, creator communities. Answer questions honestly and never spam.
- Write a short monthly summary: what the community asked for, what we shipped, what is still open.
Your profile
- You are enrolled at a university in Germany and can work as a working student.
- You write fluent English and good German.
- You are active in Roblox or Discord communities yourself and understand how mod teams and studios work.
- You write clearly and briefly, without marketing fluff.
- You are organised and reliable and like owning a channel from start to finish.
- A plus: you have moderated a server, run a community event or written a changelog before.
What we offer
- Remote, up to 20 hours per week during the lecture period, more in the semester break if you want.
- Real responsibility from day one. The community is yours to shape.
- A close look at how a product goes from idea to release, and a say in what gets built.
- A working student salary. We tell you the amount in the first conversation.
- Flexible hours around your timetable and exam phases.
