Game Moderator (moderation service)

Your tasks

• Review open reports from games that use the moderation service in our staff panel: watch the clip, read the description, check the player's priors and notes.
• Decide each case: permanent ban, temporary ban or acquittal, following the rules of the game and our moderation guide.
• Write a short, clear reason the player will see in the game. No usernames, no links, no insults, at most 400 characters.
• Leave an internal note whenever the next moderator will need context.
• Pick your shifts from the schedule. The service covers evenings and weekends too, so there are slots at all times of day.
• Flag unclear cases and patterns, for example repeat offenders or false reports, to the team lead.

Your profile

• You are at least 18 years old.
• You moderate or have moderated a Roblox game or a larger Discord community and know what exploiting, harassment and scams look like in practice.
• You speak English fluently and at least one more language, for example German, Spanish, Portuguese, French or Turkish. Other languages are just as welcome.
• You decide calmly and consistently, even when a clip is unpleasant to watch, and you can explain every decision in one sentence.
• You are reliable: a shift you picked is a shift you work.
• You have a stable internet connection and a computer that plays video without trouble.

What we offer

• Fully remote and freelance, from about 10 hours per week. You choose your shifts.
• Paid by the hour. We tell you the rate in the first conversation, before you decide.
• Clear rules for every decision, a written moderation guide and a team you can ask at any time.
• Everything on one page: clip, profile, priors and notes. The decision is a click away.
• Early access to new moderation features, because you will be the first to use them.

How to apply

Use the application form on this page. Log in with Discord, tell us which languages you speak and which games or communities you have moderated, and attach your CV as a PDF. A few sentences on why you want to moderate are enough as a cover letter.

We only accept applications through this form, not by Discord message or email. We keep your application data for six months after the process ends and then delete it.
